     Hi everyone! So today I was painting my nails (because all of the fake ones finally fell off) and I realized that I have a lot of nail polishes, especially Essie. I just want to show you all of the colors I have. I love Essie nail polishes because the nails dry fast after you apply the color and it doesn't chip as fast as other nail polish brands do. My favorite colors I own are "Sand Tropez" and "Nothing Else Metals" (because of the metallic look to it. The nail combination that I am wearing now is kinda Valentine's Day-y (though I do wear that combo for the month of February) I just wanted something different and I can always change when I get bored with these colors.

I dont really read any romance books but a book that I love that is somewhat endearing is The Wizard Heir (the whole series is fantastic. Someone should make it into a movie amiright?). It has a lot more action in it than it does romance

Classic by MKTO. I can't stand that song and they play it on the radio constantly.

If You a Fly Girl Get Your Nails Done

     Hi everyone sorry I havent posted anything in a while. I've been too busy trying to get ready for college and my dorm room, though I'm more excited about decorating my room more than anything. But for todays post I am going to talk about nails (yay!). So recently i've been obsessed with all things nails. I've already done my nails twice in the past week. oops *v*
     Earlier this week I was wear the nail polish I had on in the first photoset. Ive been into nail polishes that are nuetral colors like tan, whites, and greys. The color I have on above is Sand Tropez by Essie. I love Essie product because whenever I have it on, it lasts a long time before it even starts to chip. As you already know I am obsessed with holographic prints, so on the ring fingers I added Urban Outfitters' Silver Holo nail polish. Unfortunately, this is my sisters' nail polish so I wont be able to take it with me when I go to college and when I tried to find a nail polish similar to it, they werent as good.
     In the second photoset, I am wearing these awesome nails I got at Bed, Bath, and Beyond while I was shopping for dorm stuff. This is my first time wearing fake nails. They look so natural and I love them. Ive always wanted them because I love long nail and everytime get my nails to the right length that I like them, they always break. But anyways, Ive had on these nails for three days so far and they are amazing. Only today one of the nails broke and all I had to do was glue it back on and then I just went on with my day. On the box it said that it is recommended to only wear them for seven days so since they were so inexspensive (I got them for only $5) I might get two or three boxes before I leave for college.
     So thats all Ive been up to. Im really excited to leave for college. If any of you guys are going to Andrews University then hmu in the comment section or on my tumblr: grrl-riott :)

Style Profile: Dead, Like Your Fame

     Hi everyone! I'm starting this new thing on here called Style Profile, where I would feature and interview some of favorite blogs that I am looking at once every couple of weeks. A fantastic blog called Dead, Like Your Fame is my first of many that will be on Style Profile. I found out about her blog right after I found her lovely tumblr. Some photos of her popped up on my dashboard and I instantly fell in love with her big, wavy/ curly hair (If you guys know me well, I always wanted naturally wavy/curly big hair) and her amazing style. I also love how in her photos she doesnt just take photos standing up, she uses props like chairs and her couch. Below is an interview I did with her:

Dead, like your Fame

How did you come up with your blog name?

Everyone wants to become famous one day and fame doesn't last forever. It eventually dies, jeez, I didn't mean to sound so morbid, lol. But just in a way, you shouldn't live to become famous one day, you should live to be happy.

Who/what is your biggest fashion inspiration?

My friends, family, other fashion bloggers and surroundings are my inspiration. But the two that really started me off was Karen O, the lead singer of The Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Lovefoxxx from CSS. They both have a great sassy-chic style!

How did you get started in the blog world?

I first started in the Tumblr world back in 2010, where I would post my outfits on the daily and received a huge following. Unfortunately, I deleted my Tumblr twice due to the boredom. I wanted to get more professional by creating a blogspot where I can post nothing but outfit and inspiration for actual loyal readers.

Do you pre-plan outfits, or do you throw on what ever you're feeling that day?

Jeez, I'm so glad you guys can't see my closet because it's a complete mess! I literally throw on whatever I'm in the mood for without planning it out, unless I find a photo I'm really inspired by. 

Your signature piece?

Right now, would have to be my black fringe booties. I mean they look so perfect with every outfit!

What do you think makes someone's style original?

There's really no answer to that. I mean as long as someone is comfortable in what they're wearing being little to nothing or tons of layers, that's their style. Anything that gives them high confidence is what I consider someone's style original.

How did you develop a love for fashion?

I used to be a geeky kid that didn't care about my appearance throughout my school years until I started high school. I kind of became a little insecure because everyone had their own sense of style and I'm just wearing a t-shirt and some jeans. Of course I couldn't afford what everyone else was wearing because lets face it, North Hollywood kids have some expensive taste lol. So I started thrifting and started creating my own look, which got a lot of praise for, lol.

Fireworks Going Off Like Shot Guns

     These are my photos from last night. Some friends and I went to see the forth of July fireworks and it was so much fun. Sorry I don't have many photos to show you. I'm terrible at taking photo of my self (or in general) when I'm at events. I guess that's the point of having a blog and taking photos. I should probably get better at doing that.

     In the first photo of my friend with all of the sunglasses on (its a long story but its basically a tradition when we are all together) the last glasses that are under his nose (ew), those are mine. I'm obsessed with round sunglasses and I could never go through life without at least one pair of round sunglasses in my collection. They were from Target and they were $13. 

     All in all it was a great night. Usually I never do anything for the 4th of July so it was nice to go because it's the last time I go before I head off to college.

June Haul pt 2

2. Front Tie High Waisted Shorts: Urban Outfitters

     I've always wanted a pair of shorts that tie in the front like Tunnelvision's Bad Vibes shorts and now I have a pair that I didnt have to pay an arm and a leg for.

     What can I say, I'm obsessed with crop tops.

     I love how it has the mesh details and how it also looks kind of sporty.

5. Tropical Print Denim Jeans: Forever 21+

     They are supposed to regular jeans but since they are plus size they don't fit me how they are supposed to fit. which is what I like about them because they fit me like they are high waisted.

6. Plaid Cut Out Dress: PacSun

     I've been to PaSun so many times but this is my first purchase from them. I love this dress to bits. the cut outs of this dress are perfect for summer and the fabric of it is perfect for winter and all I would have do is put  a shirt under it or put on a cardigan
